Boys & Girls Club of Miami-Dade launches its new young professionals networking group, Club Blue Miami, committed to creating awareness for Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping children in our community reach their full potential. With numerous events planned throughout the year, Club Blue Miami hopes to attract Miami-Dade’s most motivated, energetic young professionals, ages 45 and younger, who will become the community’s future leaders.
“Club Blue Miami will serve as a forum for discussion, networking and representations at the local level for the development, progress and advancement of Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade,” said Alex Rodriguez-Roig, Executive Director of Boys & Girls of Miami-Dade.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade invites the community to join them as they kickoff Club Blue Miami on Thursday, January 20, 2011 at 6 p.m. in the Crazy About You Restaurant & Lounge located in Brickell. The event will consist of an evening of networking and cocktails. A $25 minimum donation will include a complimentary drink and hors d’oeuvres. All proceeds raised by Club Blue Miami will benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade.
