BOURBON STEAK Miami Receives Prestigious Wine Spectator Award

For the second consecutive year, BOURBON STEAK Miami, a Michael Mina restaurant, has been awarded Wine Spectator’s coveted “Best of Award of Excellence” for its extensive list of over 900 selections. Celebrate with Sommelier Matthew Turner and Executive Chef Gabriel Fenton over a four-course gourmet wine-paired dinner on Tuesday, August 11 at 7:30 p.m.

Menu highlights include a crispy skin striped bass with ricotta gnocchi and chanterelle mushrooms to start; Sonoma Liberty duck served with toasted quinoa, Belgian endive and tangerine; an American Kobe beef duo of rib eye and short rib with sauce bordelaise, cipollini onions and a foie gras emulsion; and carrot cake accompanied by a cream cheese sorbet, raisin purée and candied walnuts. Each dish infuses herbs and spices picked fresh from the on-site chef’s garden.

Wine selections include a 2006 Domäne Wachau Riesling from Austria, a 2006 Two Worlds Pinot Noir from Germany & Oregon, a 2006 Craggy Range Te Kahu from New Zealand, and a Boston Bual from Portugal.
