The Borderless Caribbean exhibition is a part of the larger Global Caribbean art program started by the Haitian Cultural Arts Alliance in 2009. It has been designed to create an artistic dialogue, and to encourage exchange between Caribbean and Miami-based artists, which have emerged from the Caribbean Diaspora. The objective is to implement an opportunity for the discussion of contemporary issues that include artistic practices, cultural identity and institutional practices, as they relate to the realities of living and creating in diverse, multi-ethnic and distinct social contexts.
