This year’s lineup will include Ethiopian Professor and Cultural Critic, Dr. Abebe Zegeye, Nigerian Artist and Curator, Dr. Ugochukwu Smooth Nzewi,Hood Museum, Black British Artist, Isaac Julien, Brown University Curator, Courtney Martin and The Root, art writer, Julie Walker. This year’s focus will include 1. The African Diaspora Presence at Art Basel Miami Beach 2014 2. African Diaspora Year in Review (2014), a market review of contemporary African Diaspora Art sales in 2015 and the role of art in the economic and social development of black urban communities in the U.S.
