Departing from the Deering Estate on the Pelican Skipper, a comfortable riding 45 foot Corinthian catamaran, this three hour tour will allow you to experience Biscayne National Park in a new light! Guided by a Biscayne National Park Ranger, guests will journey through Biscayne Bay to see Boca Chita Island and learn about the history that surrounds them. The vessel complies with Coast Guard Regulations and is ADA accessible.

Each guided tour lasts approximately three hours and includes opportunities to explore and learn about popular and scenic Boca Chita Key and Biscayne Bay. Explore the island and hike the trail (mosquitoes are prevalent on the trails). Staff engage you with the history of the park and why mangroves, seagrasses, and hardwood hammock habitats are all vital to the health of the local ecosystems. Bugs & mosquitos are very common throughout the year, please come prepared.

Ticket price includes general admission to the Estate during regular Estate hours (10AM to 4PM) the same day of your cruise.

Please arrive to the Deering Estate 30 minutes before your tour. Initial check-in is at the Main Gate & again when boarding the vessel.  Tours will depart on time;  the tour cannot be held for late arriving guests.
