BLADES ON THE BOULEVARD

   November 23 – December 21, 2012

All laced up with no place to go this season? Well South Floridians seeking a splash of winter wonderland in their tropical paradise can find an icy haven of holiday tradition at the Riverside Hotel.

Ft. Lauderdale’s landmark hotel, along with the Las Olas Association and One Beat CPR—a South-Florida based American Heart Association and American Safety Health Institute CPR training center— are encouraging locals to lace up their blades and triple-axle their way down to the boulevard for Skate Las Olas—an event that allows seasonal skaters to enjoy a synthetic “ice” skating rink under the Florida sun.

The 1,800-square-foot rink will open for skating business at the Riverside Hotel Lawn, overlooking Las Olas Boulevard, on November 23, 2012 (the day after Thanksgiving). Available for cutting-edge kids of all ages, the rink will remain open through January 6, 2013 and can be rented for private parties and events.

COST:                         Tickets purchased at on-site ticket booth.
