Time: Cocktail start at 6:00pm
5325 S. University Drive, Davie Florida 33328
Avid bowlers and novices will come together on Monday, June 3rd to raise funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Broward County’s youth mentoring programs. The event, Bowl For Kids’ Sake, marks the fourth year for Title sponsor, Rice, Pugatch, Robinson, and Schiller law firm and will once again sell out SpareZ bowling alley in Davie.
For more than 40 years, Bowl For Kids’ Sake has been the premier fundraising event for Big Brothers Big Sisters agencies across the nation. Nearly 50 teams of volunteer mentors, corporate partners and NFL alumni will pack the bowling alley from 6-10 PM. The evening will be filled with fun, food, cocktails, silent auction and special balloon raffle featuring one-of-a-kind items, bowling and awards, all in support of the mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters.
Broward County CEO Ana Cedeño says, “Bowling is a game that is pure fun, and allows everyone to be a kid again. In fact, many of the matches we support as an agency meet for the first time in a local bowling alley, so the revival of this event has a deeper meaning and connection to the foundation of Big Brothers Big Sisters both nationally and locally.”
Nationwide every year, the Big Brothers Big Sisters network raises 20 million dollars through Bowl For Kids’ Sake. Those wishing to begin impacting children’s lives in our community can participate by challenging themselves to raise $1,000 to help fund a child’s new mentoring opportunity. Be a person who can affect change now by participating and/or donating to support Bowl for Kids’ Sake!
