Time: 6:30 Cocktail reception 7:30 – Parade of Chefs
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Broward County will host the 6th Annual Kabuki Celebrity Cook-off at the world famous Benihana Japanese Restaurant, located at 276 Commercial Blvd, Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, Florida. Kabuki features local community leaders performing as master teppanyaki chefs for the night. The event begins at 6:30 pm with cocktails and a Parade of Chefs, during which each guest chef is announced and applauded as they enter the dining room. Once the grills are fired up, the fun begins and attendees enjoy a full Benihana meal while being entertained by their chef.
Guests dress up and decorate their table in any theme they choose, from Mardi Gras to Food Network stars. During dinner, chefs compete for tips and vie for awards such as the Geisha Award (the chef who caters most to guests) and the coveted Golden Tip Award (the chef who earns the most tips).
