The recently opened Bella Beach – a chic, Mediterranean-inspired restaurant and lounge located at Trump International Beach Resort – is taking Florida’s rainy season by storm! To kick off hurricane season this summer, the new Sunny Isles oceanfront destination is launching its Happy Hour on Friday, June 1st (the first day of hurricane season) – featuring two-for-one cocktails and a special tapas menu from 4 to 8 p.m. every Friday – with an enticing and wet spin. In other words, if the skies rain on your happy-hour parade, Bella Beach will pour one complimentary round of “Hurricane Bella” shots for you and all other guests as the music erupts into a Bella Beach exclusive DJ mix that appropriately spins a hurricane siren into Rihanna’s hit song, “Umbrella” (with the chorus changed to “Um-Bella, bella, bella eh, eh, eh”). And, promising to keep palates as wet as the weather, while its raining, guests will receive $6 “Hurricane Bella” cocktails until the skies clear, in addition to the regular two-for-one special. The “Hurricane Bella” shots and cocktails will feature a fun St. Tropez take on the commonly-known Hurricane concoction, with a blend of Malibu Passion Fruit Rum, orange and lime juice, simple syrup and Blue Curacao. Bella Beach’s Happy Hour tapas menu includes:
- Bruschetta $5 – Tuscan crostini’s, heirloom tomatoes, basil, evoo
- Tuna Tartare $9 – Yellow fin, lemon vinaigrette, crostinis, micro sprouts
- Angus Steak Tartare $10 – Garlic aioli, Worcestershire, cornichons, Tuscan crostinis
- Houmous de Pois Chiches $5 – chick pea hummus, sesame tahini, smoked paprika, grilled pita
- Cocktail de Crevettes $8 – spice poached jumbo shrimp, creamy vodka cocktail sauce, lemon
· Les Wagyu Mini Burgers $6 each – Spicy arugula, tomato, pickled onion, Cabozola blue, cheddar or Swiss cheese
