On October 19th, 2018, Voices hosted its 24th Annual Be A Voice Luncheon presented by Stearns Weaver Miller Weissler Alhadeff & Sitterson P.A at Jungle Island. In this edition, we are proudly honored Judge Cindy Lederman with the Most Valuable Protector award in recognition of her distinguished career spanning 25 years serving Miami-Dade’s foster youth and families. Ruth Ramirez, a talented child advocate that holds a BA and MBA from FIU and is now KIPP’s Miami Development Director, was awarded with the Pathfinder Award. An award that acknowledges former foster youth that have overcome adversity and have succeeded in reaching their goals.
