The Bass Museum of Art is proud to present the Reflections Series, three concerts under the directorship of Gil Morgenstern and a superb ensemble of musicians and actors. Acclaimed for his artistry and technical brilliance as a soloist and chamber musician, violinist Gil Morgenstern has performed all over the world to overwhelming critical praise.
On Wednesday, November 18, 2009, A Musical Mandala kicks off the first in the series. Taking the music of Johann Sebastian Bach as its starting point, it circles through works by Shumann, Ysaye, Bartok, Barkauskas, Villa-Lobos and Kreisler.
The next two events in the series will be held on February 24 and May 6, 2010.
