Basic.Space, the curated, IRL-to-URL shopping destination, is pleased to announce its inaugural London event at The Old Selfridges Hotel on 13-14 June, 2026, with an invite-only preview on 12 June. This marks the international debut of Basic.Space’s multi-city event series, following Los Angeles (2025, 2026) and New York (2025).

The London event takes cues from its iconic location, an industrial landmark in the heart of London. Inspired by the UK’s rich history of subversive underground culture, this edition is built on four pillars: design, art, fashion and sound.

“Discovery has always been at the forefront of Basic.Space’s mission and no city represents this ethos better than London. It’s always been one of my favorite cities in the world where subcultures thrive–a breeding ground for the kind of creative cross-pollination that we champion”, says Jesse Lee, Founder of Basic.Space and Chairman of Design Miami.

Basic.Space London 2026 Highlights

For its London debut, Basic.Space will welcome a curated list of UK-based and international exhibitors, in a program produced by creative director Juliana Salazar. Nodding to the host city, PLATFORM:—the ecommerce destination for art and artist collaborations acquired by Basic.Space in 2025—will present a curated art exhibition featuring London-based galleries such as Nicoletti and Albion Jeune, as well as works by artists active in the city. Further standout London and UK-based participants include artist and designer Samuel Ross, upcoming gallerist Max Radford; designer Lewis Kemmenoe; production designer Jabez Bartlett; Loewe Craft Prize finalist Jobe Burns; and jewelry, homeware and accessories brand, Completedworks. Additional highlight international participants include Berlin-based designer Illya Goldman Gubin; multidisciplinary artist and designer Marcin Rusak; Western Australia-based music technology company Telepathic Instruments, founded by Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker and friends, introducing a limited-edition transparent variant of their chord-based synthesizer; UAE-based artist and designer Roham Shamekh, Paris and Seoul based artist and designer Nara Lee; Melbourne and LA based artist Nick Thomm; and London, New York and Los Angeles based collectible design gallery, Carpenters Workshop Gallery–presenting a collection of works set to include Rick Owens, Karl Lagerfeld, Charlotte Perriand and Jean Prouvé.

The full event line up will be announced shortly.
