One year ago, two of Miami’s most enticing Brickell bars collaborated to create the greatest renowned duo that reinvented Miami’s Latin-indulged party scene – Baru and Tu Candela. The only way to celebrate 12 months of a successful partnership between hospitality veterans Hector Antunez, Owner of Baru Latin Bar, and Brian Mejia, Owner of Tu Candela Bar, is by throwing a Latin-spiced 12-hour circus-themed celebration.Hector Antunez, Owner of Baru Latin Bar, and Brian Mejia, Owner of Tu Candela Bar

On November 23, 2016 from 5 p.m. to 5 a.m., The Baru Latin Bar patio will transform into a one-of- a-kind alluring spectacle with the help of some of the finest live entertainment. Guests who venture to Baru on Thanksgiving Eve will be surrounded by seductive dancers while beautiful stilt walkers make their way through the patio welcoming all party go-ers. It’s not a complete circus without a group of exotic guests; lions, monkeys, donkeys and more will help you free your inner party animal at the interactive petting zoo set up in the outdoor plaza. The two bars always go above and beyond to create the ultimate experience for its guests, and this party will be no exception. Prepare to reveal the lion or lioness within for this epic celebration. A cover charge will apply after 11 p.m.Hector Antunez, Owner of Baru Latin Bar, and Brian Mejia, Owner of Tu Candela Bar

“We wanted to give locals who have supported us this year an unforgettable party,“ said Antunez. “Our one year anniversary wouldn’t be as special without celebrating with the people who have been coming to both our venues for over a decade.“

Once each other’s competition, hospitality gurus, Hector Antunez and Brian Mejia, joined forces to revive a hidden corner in Mary Brickell Village. These ring leaders of the Latin nightlife business came together to produce the most captivating and lively space for everyone. Fast forward one year, Baru Latin Bar and Tu Candela have taken the lead in Miami’s Latin entertainment scene. Attracting a diverse group of people from across all cultures, Baru Latin Bar and Tu Candela encourages all to come together for the love of music, dancing, and creating memorable experiences. Their mouth-watering signature cocktails, Latin beats, and vibrant atmosphere lure a full-house week in and out, and with their daily events there’s always a reason to stop by. The one-year anniversary marks the beginning of a successful partnership. The owners plan to expand and create Latin vibes all over South Florida, with their next project in the works opening December 2016 in Brickell.
