Join our Banned Book Club as we read and talk about The Sandman, the groundbreaking comic book series that weaves together ironic humor, fantasy, and horror into a captivating story for all ages. During its seven-year run, the series and its author, Neil Gaiman, won critical acclaim and broke ground by attracting a large audience of female readers, many of whom read no other comics. It was also the flagship book for DC Comics’ Vertigo imprint, which went on to produce many of the company’s most innovative titles.
Featuring the tales of Dream and his immortal siblings, the Banned Book Club will explore one volume of the 10-volume series each month.
