B Ocean Fort Lauderdale Unveils a Brand New Alternative at Grand Opening Celebration

Special guests Mayor Jack Seiler and Celebrity Chef Holli Ugalde, along with 700+ other attendees, were greeted by a unique blue carpet at the highly anticipated grand opening of B Ocean Fort Lauderdale.  The March 31st event, dubbed “ABNA” – A Brand New Alternative, gave all guests the chance to “B a VIP” and B Treated™ during an evening of indoor and outdoor experiences throughout each of the hotel’s public spaces.  Each vignette event was designed to showcase the new property, introducing attendees to the new upper-upscale lifestyle B Hotels & Resorts™ brand and energizing the senses.

Located on Fort Lauderdale Beach at the corner of Sunrise Boulevard and AIA, the festivities at B Ocean Fort Lauderdale included B Scene™ Blue Carpet Arrivals; B’licious cocktails paired with a sampling of signature menu items from the hotel’s restaurants, SAIA and B’stro on the Beach; live performance models; a DJ; synchronized swimmers; and Palm City’s The Bob Gaffney Orchestra.

An official program of remarks included comments by Mayor Jack Seiler, B Hotels & Resorts™ CEO Ayelet Weinstein and Corporate Vice President, Brand Marketing for B Hotels & Resorts™ Chris Tompkins.  In addition, guests enjoyed a meet-and-greet with the hotel’s Celebrity Signature Chef Holli Ugalde, winner of Hell’s Kitchen Season 7, who stayed through the weekend for a line-up of interactive cooking classes.
