WHAT: Autism Speaks’ Miami-Dade Chapter will host an open forum on the advances of science and how it pertains to autism spectrum disorders. The forum, “Giving Answers and Getting Results” will feature guest speakers from Autism Speaks. Geri Dawson, Ph.D., chief science officer, will present a lecture on “Providing Hope and Promise – Scientific Breakthroughs within our Reach” and Peter Bell, executive vice president of programs and services, will discuss “Making a Difference Today – An Overview of Autism Speaks Resources and Advocacy.”
