Australian label Lisa Blue makes its US debut at Miami Fashion Week Swim

Lisa Blue has an unbelievable showing on Monday, July 19th at the Raleigh Hotel in Miami.  The Australian label closed the group show in the final night of Miami Fashion Week Swim.  A fan favorite, Lisa Blue showed 15 looks ranging from Aboriginal to Renaissance Lace and viewers were overhead commenting that she was the highlight of this season’s fashion week festivities.

Designer and founder Lisa Burke is delighted to bridge the ancient world with the modern world and bring a greater appreciation to the original cultural beauty of Australia. The beautiful indigenous model Tamara Flanagan was flown in from Australia to open the Lisa Blue runway show.  She was decorated with the Mirning tribe’s face paint.

Lisa Blue is a pioneer in combining beautiful fashion together with a cause to help preserve our marine environment.  A full twenty five percent of the net profit for Lisa Blue is donated towards helping protect the whales and dolphins.  The money is donated to the Australian Whale Conservation Society (www.awcs.org.au).  Lisa Blue reflects the inner beauty of the modern girl who cares to make a difference. This is the way of the future.

Lisa Blue not only gives an unusually generous eco friendly donation, but as the swimwear is made in Australia with expert craftsmanship using premium fabric imported from Italy, the line offers the hottest in design and aesthetics.  Lisa Blue caters to both the sporty girl who rides the waves and the girl who simply enjoys frolicking on the beach or just wishes to look fabulous by the pool.
