Subway Launches "Feed Your SUBconscious" Brand Platform Starring Will Arnett
Premier Guide Miami ·
Subway has entered a new era with the launch of "Feed Your SUBconscious," a brand platform starring actor and comedian Will Arnett that positions the chain as the go-to better-for-you food choice at a great value. The campaign takes direct aim at what Subway calls today's overpriced, unsatisfying, and inconvenient food landscape — and gives the inner voice that knows better a face. Actually, several faces.
In the initial anthem launching today, Arnett transforms into five distinct characters, each representing the internal voice that surfaces when a craving strikes or a food decision needs to be made. From smoothie counters to burger drive-thrus, each character delivers sharp, funny, and occasionally irreverent guidance — the kind of tough love that pushes people to stop settling and make the better choice.
"Most advertising tries to convince people of something. This campaign begins with something they already know," said Jeff Klein, Chief Marketing Officer at Subway. "They know when they're settling for a meal they do not really want and when lunch is about to become an afternoon regret. Feed Your SUBconscious gives that instinct a voice, with Will Arnett reminding people that Subway offers satisfying, freshly prepared food, made exactly how they want it, with value that makes the choice even easier."
Arnett himself leaned into the concept: "If you know what's good for you, you'll listen to me, because I AM you! We don't need to settle for a nap on a sesame seed bun or pay ridiculous prices for pond water. Let's remember how much we crave delicious, affordable food that keeps us going … and go to Subway."
The campaign will appear across broadcast and streaming television, streaming audio, digital, social media, in-restaurant, and other owned channels. Subway and Arnett will continue to introduce the characters as the platform evolves. A full 60-second video is available now across platforms.
Every Subway sandwich is made to order, built exactly the way each guest wants it. Veggie-forward, lean-protein, and good-source-of-fiber choices are available across the menu, with thousands of U.S. restaurants, a robust third-party delivery network, and expanded hours at many locations making it a convenient option for nearly any American willing to listen to their SUBconscious.
