Leah Adint is the head winemaker at Erath Winery, one of the foundational producers in Oregon's Willamette Valley. Before Erath, her career took her through California, Australia, France, and Switzerland — the kind of international winemaking résumé that produces a perspective on terroir that most single-region winemakers never develop.
On November 4, Adint is at Shooters Waterfront in Fort Lauderdale for the Women of Wine Series — a curated wine tasting paired with charcuterie and cheese, from 5:30 to 7:30pm. The event is complimentary. Spots are limited.
The Women of Wine Format
The Women of Wine Series at Shooters is built around the stories behind the wine — the winemaker's career, the decisions that shaped the wines in the glass, the international context that most tasting events skip over. Adint's career is the right material for that format: a winemaker who has worked in four countries across three continents has a different story to tell than one who has worked in a single appellation.
