White Truffle Season at Sexy Fish Is the Most Theatrical Tableside Experience in Miami
Sexy Fish Miami is running white truffle season through November — freshly shaved white truffle added tableside to any dish, presented through the restaurant's signature white-glove service, at $12 per gram. It is the most theatrical tableside experience in Miami right now.

White truffle season runs from October through December, and Sexy Fish Miami is doing it correctly: freshly shaved white truffle, added tableside to any dish on the menu, presented through the restaurant's signature white-glove service, at $12 per gram. The price is honest. The presentation is the point.
Sexy Fish is the Richard Caring import from London — the restaurant that brought Damien Hirst coral reef sculptures, a 17-meter bar, and a room that is designed to be looked at to Brickell. The white-glove service is not a metaphor. The staff at Sexy Fish wear white gloves. The tableside truffle shaving is the kind of moment that the room was built for.
The Weekly Programming
White truffle season runs alongside the restaurant's weekly programming, which is among the most consistent in Miami: Champagne & Pearls every Thursday from 10pm — live entertainment, champagne glass performances, champagne and caviar pairings. Sexy Sunday Brunch every Sunday from 11:30am to 3pm — $78 per person, two hours, live entertainment, starters, sides, and mains tableside, a Culinary Showcase Station with seafood, sushi, sashimi, and tartares, and a Candy Corner with house-made Japanese confections. Sundown Somewhere Happy Hour Monday through Friday from 4 to 7pm and Sundays from 5 to 7pm — specially priced maki rolls, sashimi, nigiri, and tempura at the bar.
The white truffle offering is available through November. The $12 per gram price point means a meaningful shaving over a dish runs $24 to $36 — which is, by white truffle standards, a reasonable entry point for one of the most aromatic ingredients in the world.
Sexy Fish Miami is in Brickell. Reservations through Resy. The white truffle is available daily through the end of November.

The Case for Cuban Food as Fine Dining Has Been Made in Miami for Decades. Most Guides Still Miss It.
Cuban cuisine is the foundational food culture of Miami. It is also the most underrepresented cuisine in the city's fine dining conversation. The restaurants that are doing the most interesting work with Cuban flavors — elevating the ropa vieja, the picadillo, the mojo-marinated pork — are not the ones that appear in most dining guides.
