Apple Co-Founder Ronald G. Wayne to Appear at Jupiter Festival Miami on October 7

Ronald G. Wayne — one of the three original co-founders of Apple Computer Company alongside Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak — will make a special VIP appearance at Jupiter Festival Miami on October 7. At 92, Wayne will participate in the festival’s exclusive VIP Media Interview Series, including a featured conversation with Chris Champion at 11 a.m. ET, and will be networking with attendees throughout the day.

Jupiter Festival Miami runs October 6–9 at the Miami Beach Convention Center, welcoming more than 3,000 attendees, 200 partners, 15 headliners, 200 speakers, and participants from over 90 countries. Wayne’s appearance offers attendees a rare opportunity to hear firsthand reflections on Apple’s earliest days and the evolution of the technologies that shape modern life.

Wayne’s connection to Apple goes beyond co-founding the company. He authored Apple’s original partnership agreement, designed the company’s first logo, and wrote the Apple-1 Operations Manual — providing much of the organizational and documentation framework that supported Apple’s earliest operations. He sold his 10% stake in the company for $800 in 1976.

His career stretches back decades before Apple. Wayne worked at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory on the Mirror Fusion Reactor Project, founded companies that developed fully electronic casino gaming systems approved by the Nevada Gaming Commission, and joined Atari in 1973 where he mentored a young Steve Jobs. He continues to invent and write today, including his book Tomorrow’s Money, which explores monetary history and sound-money principles.
