Perry's Steakhouse Brings Back Flashback Friday — 79-Cent Pork Chop Lunch Returns to Coral Gables

Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille is bringing back its #FlashbackFriday celebration at its Coral Gables location, offering two dishes for just 79 cents — a nod to 1979, the year Perry’s first opened as a modest butcher shop in Houston. This year’s promotion expands to 200 guests, with 100 tickets for the Famous Pork Chop Friday Lunch and 100 for the new Caramelized Prime Rib Steak Sandwich.
The Famous Pork Chop Friday Lunch — a Perry’s signature for more than four decades — is rubbed with a secret blend of seasonings, cured, roasted, slow smoked, and caramelized before being finished in the oven and topped with herb-garlic butter. It’s served with whipped potatoes, homemade applesauce, and freshly baked bread. The new Caramelized Prime Rib Steak Sandwich is pecan-wood fired, then crusted and caramelized to order, served with French fries and horseradish cream.

Doors open at 10:30 a.m. on the secret date — to be announced exclusively on Perry’s social media. The first 200 guests in line receive a special card redeemable for one of the two dishes, distributed first-come, first-served while quantities last. Guests must be 21 or older; dine-in only.
