Gibson Garage Miami Opens in Wynwood with Marty Schwartz Live Guitar Lessons

Gibson Garage Miami officially opened its doors to the public on September 10, 2026, bringing the legendary guitar brand's third global retail and experience destination to 2660 NW 3rd Avenue — on the ground floor of the iconic Wynwood Garage in Miami's Wynwood Art District.
Spanning more than 8,000 square feet, Gibson Garage Miami offers more than 500 instruments from Gibson, Epiphone, Kramer, MESA/Boogie, Maestro, KRK, and Gibson Amplifiers. The space invites musicians, fans, collectors, and curious beginners to play, explore, create, and connect through hands-on experiences, live performances, artist events, exclusive apparel, lifestyle gifts, rare instruments, and local Miami-inspired collaborations. It also features the first stateside Gibson Gallery art installation.
To celebrate the opening weekend, Gibson Garage Miami is hosting two free live guitar events with Marty Schwartz — known globally as Marty Music — one of the most influential guitar educators in the world. With over 3.8 million YouTube subscribers and more than two billion video views, Marty has taught more people to play guitar than arguably anyone else alive.
On Saturday, September 12 at 4:00 PM, Marty hosts a "Back to Basics" in-store guitar learning class open to players of all skill levels. On Sunday, September 13 at 12:00 PM, he returns for a second session. Both events are free and open to the public at Gibson Garage Miami.
Guests can also work with Gibson Garage Pros through the Gibson Custom Made to Measure program to design a fully personalized guitar handcrafted by Gibson Custom artisans in Nashville. Following the successful openings of Gibson Garage Nashville and Gibson Garage London, the Miami location marks a new chapter in Gibson's growing global footprint — and a celebration of the spirit, sound, and creative energy of Miami.
