FUZE Caribbean Art Fair Returns to Nassau October 21–25 Under the Theme 'Coming Home'

The fourth edition of FUZE Caribbean Art Fair opens October 21–25, 2026 at Baha Mar in Nassau, The Bahamas, under the theme Coming Home. Organized by The Current: Baha Mar Gallery & Art Center and presented by title sponsor Scotiabank, the fair brings together more than 100 artists and over 20 galleries, museums, and cultural institutions from more than 10 Caribbean nations, the wider Americas, Africa, and the United Kingdom for five days of exhibitions, installations, conversations, and cultural exchange.

This year’s fair is an opportunity to celebrate the extraordinary creativity of the Caribbean while creating meaningful pathways for artists, collectors, institutions and audiences to engage with one another.”

The theme Coming Home considers home not only as a physical place but as an emotional and cultural space shaped by memory, community, and shared experience. Featured artists include Lavar Munroe, whose presentation alongside the late John Beadle — titled In Another Man's Yard, curated by Dr. Krista Thompson — marked The Bahamas' first appearance at the Venice Biennale in thirteen years at the 61st edition, with Baha Mar as a major sponsor. The fair also features Deborah Jack (St. Martin/New Jersey), April Bey (represented by Vielmetter LA and TERN Gallery), Antonius Roberts OBE, Jamaican artist Charles Campbell, and Desmond Beach (Richard Beavers Gallery, New York), recipient of the FUZE x SCOPE Residency Prize.

Beyond the exhibition floor, FUZE 2026 offers a full programme of Pulse Talks (academic presentations), panel discussions, workshops, and the returning fan-favorite figure drawing class with John Cox. Through the support of the Baha Mar Foundation and Scotiabank, hundreds of school students from New Providence will participate in educational tours during the week. Scope Art Show's partnership connects Caribbean artists and galleries with global collectors and curators, while The Blue Floor Project — FUZE's initiative presented during Miami Art Week at SCOPE — introduces Caribbean contemporary art to new audiences.
