Boho House Is Closing After Six Years — Miami Has Four Nights to Say Goodbye

After six years, Boho House is closing its doors — and it is not going quietly. The Edgewater venue that became a ritual for Miami’s nightlife community is marking the end with four invitation-only closing parties running September 16 through 19. Four nights won’t feel like enough. Then again, nothing could sum up six years.

Boho built its name on a Tulum-inspired atmosphere, a deeply curated sound — deep house, soulful, Afro-house — and nights that ran until sunrise. Step inside and there was no mistaking it for anywhere else. Every corner told its own story through eclectic décor collected by owner Jorge Moreno from antique stores, thrift shops, and flea markets over the years. The result was a space that felt collected rather than designed, and part of why Boho became a ritual for its regulars rather than just another night out.

“Boho was never something I set out to design,” Moreno said. “It was something I built one piece at a time from 20 years spent exploring thrift stores and flea markets, and somehow, it turned into this. Every wall has a story, and so does everyone who’s made a memory here. This isn’t goodbye, it’s just the end of this chapter.”

Each of the four closing nights features a distinct lineup of the DJs and sounds that helped define the room:

Wednesday, September 16 — Axel Bayo (of Maccabi House), Divina and Friends, Ros, and Inaya
Thursday, September 17 — Gardy Girault + JOC Havana
Friday, September 18 — Jarell + Daryy + Syala
Saturday, September 19 — 305Mandy + Otto + Lorena
