Art Basel Miami Beach Unveils 2024 Details
Art Basel Miami Beach has announced new details for its upcoming edition, set to run from December 6-8, 2024, with VIP Preview Days on December 4 and 5. Directed for the first time by Bridget Finn, the fair will feature 283 premier galleries from 38 countries and territories, showcasing a refreshed artistic program with the largest cohort of new exhibitors in over a decade.
The Meridians sector, focused on monumental artworks, will debut under curator Yasmil Raymond, featuring 18 large-scale projects by notable artists including Alice Aycock, Rachel Feinstein, and José Parlá. The Kabinett sector will also showcase thematic presentations with an emphasis on diversity and discovery.
Additionally, the fair will include Art Basel’s renowned talks program, curated for the first time in Miami Beach by Kimberly Bradley, beginning with a Premiere Artist Talk featuring American artist Hank Willis Thomas.
