The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami- Dade County (@arshtcenter) announces new performances available to Arsht UTIX (#ArshtUTIX) registrants for the 2019-2020 season. Now in its sixth year, Arsht UTIX provides full-time, degree- seeking undergraduate and graduate level college students with $25 tickets to dozens of performances at the Arsht Center each season. Students can register for free at arshtcenter.org/UTIX.

$25 tickets are now available to the following performances for the 2019-2020 season: Cuba Beat: India en Homenaje a Celia Cruz (September 28), Cuba Beat: Martí: Versos de Cuba, Canciones de Libertad (November 8), City Theatre’s The Cake (December 5 – December 22), Cuba Beat: Willy Chirino & Lissette: Navidad en Familia (December 14), Salute to Vienna New Year’s Concert (December 28), and Cuba Beat: A Beny Moré, Con Amor (February 22, 2020).

For the first time, an Arsht UTIX subscription package to the Center’s 2019-2020 Theater Up Close series is available. The package costs $125 (a savings of 30 percent off a regular subscription) and includes all five Theater Up Close shows: Zoetic Stage’s The Wolves (October 31-November 17), City Theatre’s The Cake (December 5-22), Zoetic Stage’s American Son (January 9-26), Zoetic Stage’s A Little Night Music (March 19-April 12), and Zoetic Stage’s GringoLandia (May 7-24).* Students can visit arshtcenter.org/UTIX for instructions on how to subscribe to Theater Up Close.

New performances will be added to the Arsht UTIX program regularly throughout the year. Students are encouraged to visit arshtcenter.org/UTIX for the most up-to-date performance offerings.

Arsht UTIX registrants have experienced Broadway blockbusters, including The Book of Mormon, Les Misérables, and Come From Away; performances such as Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire Live in Concert; as well as special engagements with John Leguizamo, comedian Mike Birbiglia, San Francisco Symphony and Peter London Global Dance Theater, to name a few – all for $25. Since its launch in November 2014, the program has garnered more than 6,875 members and has sold a total of 9,850 tickets.
