Architecture for Dogs, Dec. 5, 12-2pm

The international launch of Architecture for Dogs, a new company founded by Kenya Hara, Tokyo-based designer, curator, Creative Director of design retailer MUJI.

 

Taking place in the Buena Vista Building in the Miami Design District, the special exhibition showcases a series of architectural structures for dogs created by a roster of world-renowned architects and designers.

Twelve leading architects from across the globe have each been assigned a dog breed for which to design an architectural structure. This dog-friendly exhibit brings together such stellar names in architecture and design as Konstantin Grcic, Kengo Kuma, Toyo Ito, MVRDV, and Shigeru Ban , among others. Each piece will be on display and an interactive digital component created by Yugo Nakamura will round out this creative exhibition honoring man’s best friend.

There will be a Press Preview from 12-2pm on Wednesday 5th December.
