Carrfour Supportive Housing, the leading provider of permanent housing and supportive services for the formerly homeless in Miami-Dade County, will host its annual fundraising and recognition luncheon, Reaching New Heights in South Florida. This year’s event honors former Florida Senator Mel Martinez and Bank of America for their commitment to ending homelessness and will include a reception, silent auction, honoree presentation, keynote address and sponsor recognition.
WHY: There are currently 4,574 homeless individuals and families in Miami-Dade. Every dollar raised at the luncheon is used to leverage $100 in funding, which Carrfour uses to build and operate supportive housing for the homeless.
