An Intimate Conversation with Miami-Dade College President Eduardo Padrón

Wednesday, June 22, 2011

Join Commercial Real Estate Women Miami (CREW-Miami) for this special opportunity to hear Dr. Padrón, President of Miami-Dade College and past Chairman of the Association of American Colleges and Universities, share his insight in the institution’s overall strategic plan and vision for growth at a time when colleges and universities across the country are increasing their interest to develop in urban areas.

In the past year alone, Miami-Dade College has undertaken a number of projects for expansion in downtown Miami, including the recently completed Miami Culinary Institute and the new student center, which is currently under construction. Dr. Padron will address the many real estate challenges faced by colleges and universities, what types of projects are of most interest to them, and what lies ahead for future development at Miami-Dade College.

The discussion will be moderated by Pat Bosch, Design Principal of Perkins + Will.
