Bourbon Steak, A Michael Mina Restaurant, is hosting “An Evening with The House of Krug” starting at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 30. The gourmet evening will begin with a Krug Grande Cuvée reception followed by a four-course dinner. To start, guests will enjoy a trio of oysters & caviar, Alaskan king crab and tuna tataki served with Krug 2000. Next up on Chef Gabriel Fenton’s menu is a smoked diver scallop with shabu, shabu and matsutake dashi paired with Krug Grande Cuvée. The main course entrée is a farm duck leg confit accented by blood orange and parsnip puree accompanied by the Krug Rose. New dinner menu at Cascata Grill
A Mediterranean-inspired dinner menu with island influences has debuted at Cascata Grill in the legendary Turnberry Isle Miami resort and features savory dishes that are delicately prepared by celebrated culinary artists who have put their own interpretation on classics seasoned with ingredients from the resort’s onsite chef’s garden.
Cuisine at Cascata Grill is in the hands of the resort’s Executive Chef John Sexton and the restaurant’s Chef de Cuisine Vinny D’Amato, who have designed the menu to appeal to all tastes. Highlights from the menu include to start – a twist on a caprese with buffalo mozzarella, long-stem artichoke, roast roma tomato and watermelon drizzled with orange basil reduction; Caribbean shrimp with sweet potato puree, coconut emulsion and pineapple relish; and mussels fra diavolo in white wine, garlic, basil, tomato and crushed red pepper served with herb crostini.
