America’s Family

Fri, Dec 1st @ 6:00pm

Anike Tourse’s new feature film, “America’s Family”, tells the story of the multiple hardships that five members of a family face after an immigration raid on their home over the Thanksgiving holiday. While each family member fights to return to each other, they also embark on a journey of self-realization, discovering that their commitment to their family and faith in one another is much stronger than they think.

Join us for a screening of this powerful film followed by an inspiring conversation, as our panel explores the family’s story and discusses the realities and driving forces of migration through an interdisciplinary lens and with a focus on human rights.
