ALL NEW EPISODES OF “THE WALKING DEAD,” “BETTER CALL SAUL,” AND “COMIC BOOK MEN” THIS WEEK ON AMC

The extended 90 minute season six finale of  the #1 show on all of television among the coveted 18-49 demographic, “The Walking Dead,” airs Sunday, April 3rd at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT.  On the final episode of the season, “Last Day on Earth” – written by Scott M. Gimple and Matt Negrete, and directed by Greg Nicotero – Rick and the group must go outside the walls to save one of their own. What they experience on the road will change their lives forever. Critics continue to rave about the series, including Sean McKenna of TVFanatic.com who hails season six as “a rather stellar season.”

 

Then, viewers can catch a new episode of the live after-show “Talking Dead” hosted by Chris Hardwick with “The Walking Dead” star Norman Reedus joined by Executive Producers Robert Kirkman and Scott Gimple and a surprise cast member at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT.

 

Rounding out the highly anticipated Sunday night lineup is the season five finale of “Comic Book Men” airing on Sunday, April 3rd at 12:40 a.m. ET/PT. On the all-new episode, “Hometown Heroes,” Phoenix Jones, a real-life superhero, visits the Stash and patrols Red Bank with the guys. Walt reminisces about an iconic Batman playset. Phoenix Jones is the leader of the Rain City Superhero Movement, a Seattle, Washington based citizen patrol group that describes itself as a crime prevention brigade.

 

Additionally, viewers will not want to miss a new episode of “Better Call Saul,” airing on Monday, April 4th at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT. Critics continue to rave about the series, including John Walters of Newsweek.com who said, “‘Better Call Saul’ is television’s best prequel.”

In the eighth episode of the season, “Fifi” – written by Thomas Schnauz and directed by Larysa Kondracki – Mike is determined to settle the score with a dangerous adversary. An unexpected opportunity to gain a competitive edge falls in Jimmy’s lap.

From “Breaking Bad” creator Vince Gilligan and “Breaking Bad” writer Peter Gould“Better Call Saul” focuses on the evolution of the popular “Breaking Bad” character Saul Goodman, portrayed by Bob Odenkirk, before he ever became Walter White’s lawyer. The series is executive produced by Gilligan, Gould, Mark Johnson (“Breaking Bad,” DinerRain Man),  Melissa Bernstein (“Breaking Bad,” “Rectify,” “Halt and Catch Fire”) and Thomas Schnauz (“Breaking Bad”)  Joining Odenkirk are series regulars Jonathan Banks (“Breaking Bad,” Wiseguy) as Mike Erhmantraut, Michael McKean (This is Spinal Tap) as Chuck McGill, Rhea Seehorn (“Franklin & Bash,” “House of Lies”) as Kim Wexler, Patrick Fabian (“Big Love,” “Grey’s Anatomy”) as Howard Hamlin and Michael Mando (“Orphan Black,” “The Killing”) as Nacho Varga – characters that will represent both legitimate and illegitimate sides of the law.
