Global music sensation Alicia Keys has announced her KEYS TO THE SUMMER TOUR, which will begin on June 28 in Sunrise, Fla. This tour marks the first time that Keys will be performing in a 360-degree experience. An “in the round” production setup which will allow fans to experience her live performance in an entirely new and exhilarating way.
“I describe it as a celebration of freedom and self-liberation! It’s going to be colorful, magical and will light up your body, soul and all of your senses!”, says Keys about the production staging of the tour.
The tour will also offer various VIP packages and experiences for fans to take their concert experience to the next level. Packages range from premium tickets to exclusive, intimate and inspirational “Soulcare Sessions” with Alicia Keys herself.
Critics have hailed Keys for her stunning live concert performances, with the Tampa Bay Times calling her last North American tour an “outstanding live performance that cemented her as one of the greatest musicians and singers of all time.”
The music legend has been in the spotlight since she exploded onto the music scene with her debut album, Songs in A Minor, in 2001. Since then, she has released six studio albums, featuring chart-topping singles such as “Fallin’,” “No One” and “Girl on Fire.” She is also an actress and author, having appeared in films such as The Secret Life of Bees and Star Trek: Beyond and releasing two books, Tears for Water: Songbook of Poems and Lyrics and More Myself: A Journey. Her philanthropic works include the creation of her nonprofit organization Keep A Child Alive, which provides care and treatment to families affected by HIV/AIDS.
Keys is also a 15-time Grammy winner and is no stranger to the awards show circuit. In 2019, she made her mark when she hosted the 61st Annual Grammy Awards. She also created the Alicia Keys Music Collective (AKMC), a platform designed as “an artistic incubator, empowering and amplifying the voices and creative expression of tomorrow’s music stars”.
Aside from the KEYS TO THE SUMMER TOUR, she is also set to release an untitled eighth studio album, which was announced during her last tour and is expected to be released sometime this year.
The general on sale for the KEYS TO THE SUMMER TOUR will begin Friday, April 21 at 9 AM ET. Pre-sales will run from Tuesday, April 18-Thursday, April 20.
