Advisor, Futurist and Former Head of Go-To-Market at OpenAI Zack Kass Among Featured Keynote Speakers at Sloss Tech 2025

General admission tickets available now until sold out

Sloss Tech, the Southeast’s premier tech and innovation conference, announced today that advisor, futurist and former Head of Go-To-Market at OpenAI Zack Kass will be among the featured keynote speakers at Sloss Tech 2025. General admission tickets are now available for the three-day event, scheduled for June 25-27 in downtown Birmingham.

Kass brings extensive expertise to the Sloss Tech stage, having led the teams responsible for sales, partnerships and customer success at OpenAI, turning cutting-edge research into real-world business solutions. As an executive business advisor, he now works with Fortune 1,000 boardrooms and leadership teams—including Coca-Cola, Morgan Stanley and Amgen—to help leaders navigate the rapidly evolving AI landscape.

Currently serving as an Executive-in-Residence at the University of Virginia focusing on the socio-economic impact of the AI Revolution, Kass has established himself as one of the foremost thinkers in applied AI, with his insights featured in Fortune, Newsweek, Entrepreneur, AdAge and Business Insider.

“Zack Kass exemplifies the innovative spirit and entrepreneurial drive that Sloss Tech celebrates,” said Deon Gordon, President & CEO of TechBirmingham. “His mission to demystify AI and help build a more beautiful future embodies the transformative potential we aim to inspire in our attendees. We’re thrilled to have him as part of our impressive lineup of keynote speakers.”

Following six consecutive years of sold-out conferences, organizers anticipate unprecedented demand for Sloss Tech 2025. In addition to general ticket sales, Sloss Tech 2025 continues its commitment to nurturing emerging talent through its Next In Tech program, with 200 tickets reserved specifically for students and early-career professionals. The Next In Tech program offers specialized access for qualifying students and early-stage professionals who want to connect with industry leaders and gain valuable insights.

“The Next In Tech program isn’t just about providing event access—it’s about creating pathways that connect Birmingham’s brightest young minds with the networks and knowledge they need to thrive,” added Gordon. “By reserving space for students and early-career professionals, we’re investing in the future architects of our innovation ecosystem. This is how we build sustainable talent pipelines—by creating spaces where emerging talent can see themselves in the industry they aspire to shape.”

General Admission tickets to Sloss Tech 2025 are now live and priced at $299, offering access to all keynotes, panels and networking events, along with complimentary snacks and refreshments throughout the conference.

For those seeking an enhanced experience, the VIP package is available at $499 and includes all General Admission benefits plus an exclusive VIP reception with speakers and industry leaders and special VIP lounge access throughout the conference, which will have catering and refreshments. With a purchase of a VIP package, attendees will also receive a Sloss Tech Swag Bag, early access to sign up for limited capacity Sloss Tech offerings like Sloss.Tech/Dev workshops, SEEK AL experiences, etc. and a complimentary ticket to ShinDigital, the official afterparty and concert at Workplay.
