ABBA The Concert Coming to Hard Rock Live on July 27

ABBA – The Concert,  the official ABBA celebratory tribute to the worldwide entertainment sensation featuring the band Waterloo, is coming to Hard Rock Live at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on July 27 at 8 p.m. Tickets go on sale Friday, June 17 at noon.

ABBA – The Concert was formed in 1996 and quickly became acclaimed for bringing back to life one of the greatest pop phenomenons in the history of music. The show has sold out several tours at the Hollywood Bowl in California and has enchanted audiences in more than 20 countries around the world including Germany, Spain, Japan and England in addition to ABBA’s Scandinavian homeland.

 

Each tour showcases two members of the original ABBA rhythm section. Performers have included saxophone player’s Ulf Andersson and Johan Stengard, legendary bass guitarist Mike Watson, guitarists Mats Ronander, Lasse Wellander and Janne Schaffer and drummers Ola Brunkert and Roger Palm.

 

ABBA fans can expect to hear the original band’s most iconic hits including “Mamma Mia,” “S.O.S,” “Money, Money, Money,” “The Winner Takes All,” “Waterloo,” “Fernando,” “Gimme, Gimme, Gimme,” and “Dancing Queen,” among many others. All music and lyrics by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvæus.

 

It’s not a coincidence that the Official ABBA Fan Club has named the group “the best ABBA tribute band in the world.”

 

Tickets cost $59, $49 and $39*; all seats are available at the Hard Rock Live Box Office, Tuesday – Saturday from noon – 6 p.m. and Sunday – Monday only open on event days at noon.
