The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of Miami is hosting an AARP Driver Safety Program at the Miami Shores Community Center, 9617 Park Drive.
§ The Driver Safety Program is geared towards the 55+ driver. The 2-part class will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 16th and Thursday, Feb. 18th from 6-9PM. Registrants must attend both classes in their entirety.
§ Reduce your chances for traffic violations, crashes, and serious injury.
§ Drive more safely.
§ Learn about normal age-related physical changes, and how to adjust your driving to allow for these changes.
§ Get an insurance discount. Upon completion of the course, you will receive a certificate. Keep a copy for your records and send one to your auto insurer for a potential 3-year reduction on your premium.
