LEGO Racing Launches in Las Vegas, Inspiring Girls and Future Motorsport Stars

Last week in Las Vegas, LEGO Group unveiled its groundbreaking partnership with F1 ACADEMY™ and the debut of LEGO Racing — its first-ever motor racing team. Aimed at inspiring young fans, especially girls, LEGO Racing emphasizes creativity, representation, and empowering the next generation of drivers and builders.

F1 ACADEMY is committed to leveling the playing field for young female athletes, and LEGO’s collaboration aims to mirror that mission by encouraging girls to explore motorsport both on and off the track through play and imagination. Dutch driver Esmee Kosterman, a LEGO Ambassador, embodies this vision as an inspiring role model.

The race-liveried LEGO Speed Champions car combines playful design with F1’s speed, set to race in 2026. The launch also featured the unveiling of the LEGO F1 car, driver, and set alongside Susie Wolff, F1 ACADEMY managing director, emphasizing the importance of inclusion and opportunity in racing and creativity. LEGO’s mission: inspire courage, build dreams, and break barriers in motorsport for girls worldwide.
