On Monday, Dec 1, inside Wynwood’s The Art of Hip Hop, cultural art forces SLAWN and OPAKE debut their immersive exhibition, “Heroes, Villains, and Violence.” The showcase features large wood-panel works blending familiar characters, parody, and boxing motifs to symbolize fighting addiction, violence, and discipline—creating a raw, social media-ready environment. Originals start at $20,000, with a limited-edition pop-up for collectors.
SLAWN, a rising cultural force praised by Virgil Abloh and curated by Skepta, bridges art, fashion, and music, with works compared to Basquiat and Warhol. OPAKE, London-based, merges graffiti and pop art, exploring themes of mental health and pop culture breakdown.
Running until December 31, 2025, the exhibit coincides with the venue’s 2nd anniversary (Dec 3-5), featuring a pop-up shop and an interactive patio shared with Museum of Graffiti, curated DJ sets, live art, and exclusive collaborations supporting brands like Curaleaf and Monster Energy.
