Jesus Pupo is a prominent pianist and composer from Havana, Cuba. A graduate of Cuba’s prestigious Amadeo Roldán Conservatory, his musical influence extends from grand symphonic works to stylized jazz bands, encompassing both intimate chamber ensembles and immersive jazz trios. Not afraid of experimentation, Jesus Pupo explores a broad spectrum of avant-garde electronic currents. His cinematic projections have been featured in numerous documentaries and premiered with the National Symphony Orchestra at The Kennedy Center. A distinguished collaborator, Jesus Pupo has shared the stage with Danay Suárez, Richard Bona and Carlos Varela. He also participated in the Premios lo Nuestro gala accompanying Romeo Santos and Gente de Zona. His albums include Nevando en La Habana and Oro in a jazz band format.
