Ep. 107: “Great & Unfortunate Things” – Premieres Friday, March 5th at 10pm ET/PT
Despite Spartacus’ (Andy Whitfield) suffering, Batiatus (John Hannah) says they must turn their attention to the future and proceed to mold him into a great gladiator. Due to Crixius’ (Manu Bennett) injuries, a rich patron who comes to procure gladiators for the games he’s putting on turns his thought to Spartacus. However, Spartacus will only play in the games under one condition: that he will fight alone. At the end of yet another victorious battle, blood-soaked and exhausted, Spartacus throws his arms up to the crowd and declares, “I Am Spartacus!”
Ep. 108: “Mark of the Brotherhood” – Premieres Friday, March 12th at 10pm ET/PT
Crixus (Manu Bennett) is not too pleased that Spartacus (Andy Whitfield) has taken his title of Champion of Capua or to hear that Batiatus (John Hannah) is considering selling him before word gets out that he has fallen so far. Elsewhere in the Ludos, Varro, (Jai Courtney), who sold himself into the gladiator life to pay off gambling debts, has fallen back on old habits, while Lucretia (Lucy Lawless) stokes Ilythia’s (Viva Bianca) growing passion for gladiatorial arts, even encouraging her friend to buy one of the newcomers.
