The Festival has tapped Chefs JJ Johnson and Andre Fowles to round up some of the best chefs to dish up a second taste of the islands at The National Hotel, nestled in the heart of South Beach. James Beard Award-winning Chef JJ Johnson, of Henry at Life Hotel in Midtown Manhattan and FieldTrip in Harlem, NY is joined by Chef Andre Fowles, Appleton Estate Premier Rums ‘Rumbassador’, current culinary ambassador for Jamaican Cuisine and owner of Everything Food based in New York, NY. Together they’ll make sure everything is going to more than alright at this evening soirée paying homage to the classic flavors of Jamaica and the islands – from signature jerk preparations to saltfish, ackee, breadfruit, roti, and more! This amped up affair is sure to make all worries fade away as you sway to the sounds of live music with plenty of libations to whisk attendees away to a truly island-inspired experience.
