Billboard Latin Music Award Nominated Reggaeton Superstars Don Omar and Nicky Jam Take the Stage at Hard Rock Live on Saturday, March 14

Reggaeton superstars Don Omar and Nicky Jam, fresh off their 2015 Billboard Latin Music Award nominations, will bring their signature sound to Hard Rock Liveat the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Saturday, March 14 at 8 p.m. Tickets are on sale now.

 

Puerto Rican powerhouse Don Omar rose to stardom with the release of his first studio album, “The Last Don” (2003).  Both the studio version and its’ live edition have been certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America. Worldwide, Omar’s live CD and DVD “The Last Don: Live” (2004) has sold over one million copies and was nominated for Urban Music Album at the 2005 Latin Grammy Awards.

 

Omar’s second studio album “King of Kings” (2006) debuted at #1 on both the Latin Sales chart and Billboard Latin Rhythm Radio chart. In April 2007 the album won the Latin Billboard Award for Reggaeton Album of the Year. “King of Kings” also went on to become the most successful album of the decade in Latin America and the most successful album in the history of the Reggaeton genre.

 

Omar continues to rule the Latin radio stations with hits such as “Virtual Diva”, “Sexy Robotica” and  “Hasta que salga el Sol”, which won the Latin Grammy for Best Urban Song in 2012. His album “MTO²: New Generation” (2012) won the Latin Grammy for Best Urban Music Album that same year.

 

In 2013 Omar held the record for most Billboard Latin Music Award nominations with 18. Currently Omar is nominated for the 2015 Billboard Latin Music Awards for Latin Rhythm Songs Artist of the Year, Solo.

 

Nicky Jam, a reggaeton pioneer, rose to fame after the release of “Haciendo Escante” (2001) and gained international recognition with the release of “Vida Escante” (2004).  He also topped the charts with singles such as “Me Voy Pa’l Party”, “Chambonea”, “Yo No Soy Tu Marido”, “Vive Contigo”, “EnLa Cama (feat. Daddy Yankee)”, “Buscarte (feat. Daddy Yankee)”, “Guayando (feat. Daddy Yankee)” and “Voy A Beber”.  Jam’s current single “Travesuras” is nominated for a 2015 Billboard Latin Music Award for Latin Rhythm Song of the Year.
