The Fifth Annual ORNARE Tastemakers Showcase has evolved into an unofficial kick-off for Art Basel. Taking place on the Monday of Art Basel week, roughly 800 international architects, designers, artists and tastemakers attend the celebration that highlights the art of architecture and interior design. ORNARE, the world’s most prestigious luxury kitchen, closet and bath brand, hand picks the top talent in the design and architecture spheres to showcase their work at this event and during Miami Art Week.
The event will unveil a window installation concept by DDM Advertising featuring photography of the top featured designers, creating the ORNARE logo. DDM will create an environment of luxurious design, floating cocktail-carrying guests between the plush Santamargherita Italian surfaces, ORNARE closets, kitchens and baths and displays of the Tastemakers’ best designs.
WHO: The 2011 Tastemakers include: Cristina & Monica Souza, Charlotte Dunagan, Juan Carlos Arcila-Duque, Hernan Arriaga, Sam Robin, Fanny Haim, Valeria Lopes, Deborah Wecselman, Michael Wolk, Rene Gonzalez, Mirtha Arriaran and Alison Antrobus.
