39th Annual Main Street Festival of Lights: “Toy Collection Benefits: Neighbors 4 Neighbors and Giving Gators”

The Graham Companies and the Main Street Merchants are proud to once again kick off the holiday season in Downtown Miami Lakes with the iconic Main Street Festival of Lights, now celebrating its 39th anniversary. Gather your family, friends, and loved ones and come to Main Street on Saturday, November 23, to witness the Lighting of Main Street. Admission and parking are complimentary for this historic holiday tradition.

The Main Street Merchants and The Graham Companies are set to transform Downtown Miami Lakes into a dazzling interactive winter wonderland adorned with thousands of sparkling lights. Every year, locals and visitors from nearby communities flock to the event, featuring a special appearance by Santa, lively local DJs, and performances by Miami Lakes Schools and dance groups. Additionally, children can enjoy holiday characters, face painting, glitter tattoos, shaved ice, cotton candy, arts and crafts, and photo opportunities with Santa, along with many other complimentary activities provided by our generous sponsors, The Graham Companies and Main Street Merchants, as well as supporting sponsor HDS Companies. Renowned journalist and TV/Radio personality GiGi Diaz will serve as Master of Ceremonies. Media partners include The Miami Laker and Clear Channel Outdoor.

For over 40 years, Main Street has been the premier destination for shopping, dining, and entertainment, drawing in generations of esteemed locals and travelers to its charming atmosphere. Eventgoers who arrive early can take advantage of getting their holiday shopping done early by exploring local Main Street merchants and enjoying the Miami Lakes Farmers Market at the intersection of Main Street and New Barn Road.

The Graham Companies has always been committed to giving back to the South Florida community. This year, they have again partnered with Neighbors 4 Neighbors to collect unwrapped toys for local Miami Lakes children served by Giving Gators during the holiday season. Additionally, the Neighbors 4 Neighbors event booth will facilitate onsite toy collections. Everyone is invited to visit the Santa House, to take photos with Santa. Participants will also be able to adopt shelter pets from Miami-Dade County Animal Services at the Mobile Adoption booth during the event.

“Spreading holiday cheer to children in our community is what the holidays are all about,” said Andrea Graham Rechichi, Vice President of Corporate Relations at The Graham Companies. “We are honored to partner with Neighbors 4 Neighbors and Giving Gators this holiday season for our fourth annual toy drive alongside our Festival of Lights. Each toy donation helps us spread holiday joy and brings smiles to the faces of hundreds of children through acts of kindness.”
