This extraordinary holiday tradition takes place on Saturday, November 30th, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm along two blocks of Downtown Miami Lakes. Bring the family to a magical holiday gathering and celebrate with your loved ones as Main Street lights up Downtown Miami Lakes during Small Business Saturday® with an array holiday-themed activities.

The Annual Main Street Festival of Lights offers family fun for everyone, beginning with the Lighting of Main Street, Live DJ, Photo Stations, performances by students from local schools, characters, face painting, arts and craft and more, all courtesy of presenting sponsors The Graham Companies and the Main Street Merchants, as well as supporting sponsors  Publix Super Markets and HDS Companies. Come out and meet radio personality, GiGi Diaz from 93.9 MIA, Variety from the 80s, 90s, and Today who will serve as Master of Ceremonies. Media partners include the Miami Laker, El Nuevo Herald, the Miami Herald, and 93.9 Mia.

For more than 36 years, Main Street has been the ultimate shopping, dining, and entertainment destination attracting generations of distinguished locals and travelers to its enchanting setting. Eventgoers who arrive early will have the opportunity to discover local Miami Lakes small businesses and get their holiday shopping done early during Small Business Saturday® – a day to celebrate and support small businesses and all they do for our local communities.

The Festival of Lights transforms Main Street into a holiday fairyland, Santa will be stopping by to help the children light up Main Street. After the lighting of the famous Oak Tree and Main Street, all event participants are encouraged to visit with Santa at the Santa House, proceeds from all Santa photos and BBQ sales will benefit the Miami Lakes Boy Scout Troop 247. For those participants looking for the ultimate holiday gift, the Miami-Dade County Animal Services will be onsite offering dog adoptions, what better way to celebrate the 2019 holiday season at the 35th Annual Main Street Festival of the Lights than by four-legged best friend.
