2020 LYNCHBURG MUSIC FEST

The 2nd-annual Lynchburg Music Fest, returning for three days of music and camping in Music Hollow Oct. 2-4, announces today the addition of Igniter Productions artists Daniel Slayton, Logan Wheat, Luke Ledbetter, Matt Dillon, Sarah Pearson, and Vending Machine Bandits to this year’s lineup, alongside headliners Josh Turner, Justin Moore, Kip Moore, and recently-added support Travis Denning. Essential to the creation of Lynchburg Music Fest, Igniter Productions hosts the “Shine On Series” and “Songcrafters Series” that ultimately culminate in the Fest each year.

With special thanks to official sponsors Miller Lite, White Claw, Craig and Wheeler Realty and Auction, and Evan’s Lumber, Lynchburg Music Fest features dozens of legendary and up-and-coming country/bluegrass artists – a true songwriters destination and the perfect getaway for music and whiskey aficionados alike. Tickets are on sale now, available at lynchburgmusicfest.com. Social distancing and sanitization measures will be in place onsite, outlined below and on the festival website.

“Supporting up-and-coming artists is what Lynchburg Music Fest is all about,” said Jonny Hill, owner of Igniter Productions and Lynchburg Music Fest. “We are proud to bring this strong roster of talent to the stage this year.”

HISTORY OF THE FEST

Lynchburg Music Fest was born out of owner Jonny Hill’s vision of bringing together both top talent and up-and-coming musicians in the area for a true celebration of music, whiskey, and small town America. The Fest is a culmination of songwriter competitions “Shine On Series” and “Songcrafters Series” in several neighboring cities leading up the main event. The inaugural Lynchburg Music Fest in 2019 was the first music festival of this caliber ever in the known history of nostalgic and historic Lynchburg, Tenn. With Jack Daniels as the premier partner its first year, Lynchburg Music Fest has expanded to partner with multiple upcoming and established distilleries in the region and more than 50 local vendors, with plans to continue to forge new relationships with local and regional businesses each year.

New this year, the Fest will feature a “Whiskey Row” and “Wine Circle,” offering concertgoers tastes from several distilleries and wineries in the surrounding areas; a song crafters tent; a “Best of Fest” award with whiskey, wine, and food categories; and many local vendors for patrons to enjoy.
