South Beach is heating up as the hottest bodies in the country prepare to hit the beach to compete for the ultimate pro division status at the NPC National Bodybuilding, Figure, Bikini & Men’s & Women’s Physique Championships, presented by GNC and MuscleTech.

Hundreds of the country’s leading champion bodybuilding, figure, bikini, and physique athletes will be staying at Miami’s posh Gansevoort hotel for a variety of registration and press activities taking place throughout the weekend. The Jackie Gleason Theater will be ground zero for the actual competitions, which will kick off with prejudging at 3pm Friday afternoon, November 18th.

All the competitions are officially sanctioned by the National Physique Committee of the USA (NPC). The NPC Nationals is the ultimate yearly qualifier for IFBB pro status.

The NPC is the NCAA of competitive amateur bodybuilding in the US and sanctions more than 1,000 events around the country. All these yearly events lead to the Nationals, its crown jewel.
