New World Symphony’s “Double Take: The Imaginative Symphony”

The New World Symphony Fellows will take the stage for an exciting performance titled, Double Take: The Imaginative Symphony. The performance will engage your senses, providing insight into the mind of the fellows and transform the way you listen to music. As a true display of NWS’s innovative twist on classical music, Double Take will use state-of-the-art technology to take you on an emotional journey from the wilderness of the sea to the fantasies of mythical beasts.

This year’s Double Take will honor four fellows who chose to perform the works that mean the most to them. Among the chosen are famous compositions by Jean Sibelius, Arnold Schoenberg, Claude Debussy, and Roberto Sierra. The performance will close with a post-concert chat with the fellows for further reflections and questions. This is a unique opportunity to hear, first-hand, from the distinguished fellows, not only about their performance, but about their time at New World Symphony in its 30th anniversary season.
