YoungArts presents An Affair of the Arts: Downtown Deco Performance and Gala
YoungArts’ annual An Affair of the Arts Performance and Gala is recognized in Miami’s social, business and philanthropic communities as a signature event on the social calendar. Since 1989, this event has brought art enthusiasts together for an evening of performances, dining and dancing. More than 400 guests experience this celebration of the completion of YoungArts Week which showcases the young artists’ achievements and gives them the opportunity to be recognized and appreciated for their outstanding talent.
The evening begins with a pre-dinner performance by our spectacular alumni. Guests then walk the red carpet and experience inspired performance vignettes from select YoungArts finalists, stellar prizes, superb cocktails and socializing with Miami power players amidst spectacular decor– all before being seated for a sensational dinner. The evening ends with dancing and an everlasting memory of the talented young artists and their impact to inspire us and future generations.

nature event on the social calendar for 28 years: YoungArts’ annual An Affair of the Arts.
The evening begins with a pre-dinner performance by our spectacular alumni at the beautiful Olympia Theater at the Gusman Center for the Performing Arts. Following the performance, Gala patrons will move on to the Alfred I. DuPont building for dinner, but Miami’s young benefactors will join us around the corner at the trendy ECCO lounge for a chic twist on the evening event. After dinner, the cultural elite will all gather at the Alfred I. DuPont building with dancing and an everlasting memory of the talented young artists and their impact to inspire us and future generations.
Your $75 ticket price may be applied in the new year to a new YoungArts Young Benefactor Society membership.

The evening will begin at 8 p.m. at the Olympia Theater at the Gusman Center for the Performing Arts for a spectacular performance by our 2010 YoungArts Dance and Cinematic Arts finalists.
Following the performance, join the city’s cultural elite around the corner at ECCO for dancing, socializing and cocktail specials.
